Minister Laporte launches bold transport reform

The Minister for Transport, Ports and Civil Aviation, Veronique Laporte, has unveiled a comprehensive set of revised regulations and strategic initiatives designed to modernise Seychelles’ public transport system and ease national traffic congestion.

This took place during a press briefing yesterday at Botanical House.

Accompanied by her principal secretary and the chief executives of all organisations under her portfolio, Minister Laporte emphasised that tackling the country’s traffic and transit challenges requires a multi-faceted approach – combining cutting-edge technology, infrastructure upgrades, and civic responsibility.
