United Seychelles Congress approves key appointments and resolutions

United Seychelles held its 39th Annual Ordinary Congress on Saturday at the International Conference Centre Seychelles (ICCS). Delegates endorsed the election and appointment of the party’s office bearers and adopted a series of resolutions.

The congress ratified decisions taken by the Central Committee at its March 27, 2026 meeting, in line with the party’s constitution. The committee confirmed:

• Dr Patrick Herminie as President
• Dr Marvin Fanny as Vice-President
• Idith Alexander as Treasurer
• Paul Ernesta as Secretary General and Chief Executive Officer
