Anthony Morgan shines amid challenges
Anthony Morgan has once again demonstrated why he is one of Seychelles’ most promising young swimmers.
Competing at the 2026 Africa Aquatics and Zone IV Open Water Swimming Championships in Mont Choisy, Mauritius, he secured a bronze medal in the 5km category of the 14-15 age group, finishing in 1 hour, 8 minutes, and 16.94 seconds (1h08:16.94) and placing 21st overall across Africa.
This marked his first attempt at the 5km distance, yet he displayed remarkable endurance and skill, cementing his status as a rising star in the region.
