On Sunday June 14, families from across the country are being encouraged to lace up their running shoes and gather at Stad Popiler for an event that is about far more than covering 10 kilometres.
The 3rd International Father's Day 10km Family Fun Run, organised by charity runner Joel Melanie and the Joel59 Run Club, hopes to once again bring together fathers, mothers, children and grandparents in a celebration of family values and positive role models.
Carrying the theme ‘Lead, Mentor, Inspire’, this year's event honours fathers and father figures who make a difference in the lives of young people through their guidance, support and example.
