International Affairs Committee meets Foreign Affairs minister

On Friday, June 12, 2026, the International Affairs Committee (IAC), led by chairperson Hon. Egbert Aglae, met with the Minister for Foreign Affairs & the Diaspora, Ambassador Barry Faure, to discuss matters relating to the ongoing work of the Committee.

The minister was accompanied by a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including principal secretary Ian Madeleine; chief of protocol, Ambassador Terry Romain; second secretary in the Legal Unit, Serah Bonté; third secretary in the Protocol and Public Diplomacy Unit, Jasmine Talma; and executive director of the minister’s secretariat, Beryl Pillay.
