National Assembly approves Seychelles Broadcasting Corporation Bill 2026
The National Assembly yesterday approved the Seychelles Broadcasting Corporation Bill 2026, as amended, following its third reading.
The bill was presented by Vice-President Sebastien Pillay on Tuesday afternoon. In introducing the legislation, Vice-President Pillay explained that it followed extensive internal work by the government, taking into account various considerations and debates surrounding the role of the Seychelles Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) as the country’s public broadcaster.
