Team Seychelles carries pride, hope and ambition to Glasgow
The Seychelles delegation heading to the 2026 Commonwealth Games was officially sent off yesterday at State House, where President Dr Patrick Herminie presented the national flag to athlete Natasha Chetty, who will carry it at the opening ceremony of the Games in Glasgow.
The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the country’s preparations for the XXIII Commonwealth Games, known as Glasgow 2026, which will be held from July 23 to August 2 in Glasgow, Scotland.
