La Retraite school has spent recent weeks turning words into action, transforming its greenhouse into a living classroom and drawing the attention of international education leaders.
Planting the seeds
The project began with teacher Brigitte Evenor, the school’s language subject leader, while completing the LEAD‑ESD course. Participants were tasked with observing their own institutions and designing a project in response. Ms Evenor identified a clear need: greening the school. That insight became the seed for everything that followed.
