Seychelles hosts Bolshoi cultural milestone
Seychelles is set to host one of the world’s most celebrated cultural institutions as the ‘Bolshoi Theatre: Through Time’ exhibition opens at the National Library on July 28 – marking the first time the Bolshoi Theatre Museum has ever exhibited in Africa.
Running until the end of August, the exhibition commemorates three historic milestones: the 50th anniversary of Seychelles’ Independence, 50 years of diplomatic relations between Seychelles and the Russian Federation, and the 250th anniversary of the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Russia.
