Dr Odile De Comarmond
Dr Odile De Comarmond, chairperson of the Citizens Engagement Platform Seychelles (Ceps), has been appointed vice-president of the Southern African Council of Non‑Governmental Organisations (SAF‑CNGO). She will represent Ceps and Seychelles on the regional body’s executive board, following elections held during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Seychelles on April 23, 2026.
This appointment marks a significant milestone for both Ceps and the civil society sector of Seychelles, reflecting the growing recognition of the country’s leadership in regional civic engagement and governance frameworks.
