Anse Royale secondary school emerged as the overall winner of this year’s Art Talent Quest competition, with its student artists impressing judges through their creativity and interpretation of the natural scenery surrounding the venue.

The annual initiative provides students with a platform to showcase their artistic talents and creativity. Pairs of students from secondary schools across the country, accompanied by their art teachers, were given five hours to draw and paint a natural scene viewed from the hotel compound.

The competition concluded with Anse Royale secondary taking first place, followed by Beau Vallon secondary in second and Pointe Larue secondary in third.

Representing the winning school were Marion Jean and Yasmin Dingwall. Marion said she was overwhelmed with joy:
