Seychelles strengthens chess ties in Africa

Seychelles has taken another step towards strengthening its presence in African chess development following its involvement in the 2026 African Chess Confederation congress, held recently in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Represented by chairman Benjamin Hoareau, Seychelles joined delegates from 49 African countries for discussions focused on leadership, cooperation and the future growth of chess across the continent.
