Team Seychelles set for historic debut at inaugural Games

A new chapter in regional youth sport will be written this month as Seychelles sends a team of five promising athletes to compete at the inaugural Eswatini National Youth Games, which will take place from August 14 to 17 in the Kingdom of Eswatini.

Organised by the Eswatini Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association (EOCGA), the Games represent a landmark initiative aimed at developing the next generation of athletes while strengthening sporting links across Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean region.

The competition will bring together young athletes from Eswatini alongside invited delegations from Seychelles and Lesotho, providing them with the opportunity to compete in a multi-sport environment similar to major international events.
