A Sunday escape that turned into a story

Sometimes the best stories happen when you’re not looking for one. Last Sunday, I found myself at Anse Lazio with a strawberry mojito in hand, sushi beside me, and no intention of doing anything work-related.
The plan was simple: sit on the beach, enjoy my food, take a few photos, and let the afternoon pass without deadlines or assignments. But then I looked up – the turquoise water stretched out before me, granite boulders lined the shore, and the beach had that majestic feel. As always, I took a few photos. Then came the thought: Why not write about this place? Not because of an event or press release, but because, sitting there with my drink and sushi, I was reminded that this is one of those places we sometimes take for granted simply because it’s right here.
