Khalil Payet, Nasri Jean-Baptiste win a gold medal apiece for Seychelles
Team Seychelles are expected home this afternoon after winning 10 medals – two gold, three silver and five bronze – at the inaugural Eswatini National Youth Games, held on August 15-16 in the Kingdom of Eswatini.
Khalil Payet won a gold medal in the boys’ high jump contest at the Somhlolo National Stadium by clearing the bar at 1.90m, while swimmer Nasri Jean-Baptiste picked up the team’s other gold medal in the 200m freestyle with a winning time of 2 minutes 08.53 seconds (2:08.53) at the Enjabulweni School.
