Seychelles set for historic first international karting appearance in Angola

Seychelles will take a historic step in its motorsport journey this October when two young karting drivers become the first to officially represent the country at an international karting event overseas.

Autosport Seychelles will send a national delegation to Benguela, Angola, for the inaugural Pan-African Karting Championship ‘SHOWRUN’, taking place on October 10–11, 2026, with the Seychelles delegation travelling from October 5-14, 2026.

The event is being hosted by the Federação Angolana de Desportos Motorizados (FADM) and forms part of a wider continental initiative aimed at establishing a new and more accessible pathway for karting across Africa.
