Power of the mic: Youth voices driving positive change
Young people in Seychelles are being encouraged to recognise the power of their voices, thoughts, and actions, with participants at a recent youth forum sharing views on unity, personal development, and the importance of working together to create positive change.
Empowering the next generation
In a world dominated by viral trends and digital noise, the ‘Power of the Mic: Youth, Influence, Choices and the Power to Shape Our Community’ workshop urged young Seychellois to take ownership of their narratives and recognise the influence they hold.
Bringing together youth, artists, athletes, content creators, and leaders, the workshop centred on a simple but powerful message: “You have the mic. You have the influence. What will you use it for?”
