Ally, Fred charge to victory in thrilling round

Adam Ally produced a commanding drive to claim Senior honours, while Peter Fred completed a perfect sweep of the Legends category as close racing and dramatic battles highlighted round five of the Karting Club Championship at Champions Park Raceway on Sunday.

The Seniors and Legends categories shared the track for the morning meeting, creating an entertaining nine-kart field in which drivers from both classes were able to battle for overall track position while continuing to compete separately for their respective category honours.
