Ebola health order halts Pointe Larue Bazar Brothers’ Caf debut
Seychelles Football Federation Cup winners Pointe Larue Bazar Brothers’ debut in the Confederation of African Football club competitions has been postponed after they team were prohibited and prevented from leaving Seychelles to travel to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The decision follows an order dated September 2, 2026 and made by Public Health Commissioner, Dr Jude Gedeon, amid the ongoing Ebola (Bundibugyo virus disease) outbreak, which remains a health emergency in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
