Agroecology project lays base for more sustainable farming
The project ‘Diffusion of Agroecology to Reduce the Risk of Pollution and Erosion from Agricultural Origin on Seychelles Waters’ was successfully carried out from September 2024 to August 2026.
Over two years, it brought together farmers, agricultural educators, extension officers, and institutional partners, making a significant contribution to promoting and adopting agroecological practices in Seychelles. The project achieved its three main objectives: strengthening knowledge, encouraging practical application of sustainable farming, and reducing pollution and soil erosion linked to agriculture.
