Pagoda hosts 125-year milestone of Chinese community in Seychelles

The Chinese Association of Seychelles marked a remarkable milestone yesterday as it celebrated its 125th anniversary with a vibrant ceremony at the Pagoda in Victoria.
The event was graced by Vice-President Sebastien Pillay, First Lady Veronique Herminie, Chinese Ambassador Lin Nan, ministers, members of the National Assembly, the Mayor of Victoria, government officials, and members of the Chinese community.
The festivities began with a spirited dragon dance, symbolising joy, prosperity and good fortune, setting the tone for the evening.
