Agencies map actions to boost marine environmental enforcement

Government agencies and marine conservation organisations have agreed on a series of priority actions to improve coordination and strengthen enforcement of environmental offences in Seychelles’ marine protected areas.

The priorities emerged from a three‑day cross‑agency workshop held from September 15–17, 2026 at the Savoy Seychelles Resort & Spa, focused on enhancing enforcement collaboration across the country’s marine protected areas.
