Freedom Run celebrates 50 years of India-Seychelles ties
Runners took to the streets of Victoria on Saturday September 26, for the Freedom Run, celebrating 50 years of diplomatic relations between the Republic of India and the Republic of Seychelles.
The event also marked two national milestones: India’s 80th Independence Day, celebrated on August 15, 2026, and Seychelles’ 50th Independence Day, celebrated on June 29, 2026.
