New IAEA pact backs national development
Seychelles has signed a new Country Programme Framework (CPF) with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for the period 2026-2031, strengthening cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear science and technology.
The agreement was signed yesterday afternoon by the Minister for Foreign Affairs & the Diaspora Barry Faure on behalf of the Government of Seychelles and IAEA director general Rafael Grossi on behalf of the agency from Vienna, Austria.
The signing took place virtually at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & the Diaspora.
