Kate takes Seychelles flag to Mount Ararat for cancer awareness

Seychellois adventurer and mountaineer Catherine ‘Kate’ Rose has once again taken the Seychelles flag to new heights, reaching the summit of Mount Ararat in eastern Türkiye at 5,137 metres above sea level.

On September 10, high above the clouds, Kate stood on the summit of Türkiye’s highest mountain, carrying not only the colours of Seychelles but also a message of hope and solidarity for people affected by cancer.
