First female Sergeant Major among 77 police promotions

Vice-President Sebastien Pillay on Friday attended the Seychelles Police Force promotion ceremony, where he addressed 77 newly promoted officers on behalf of President Patrick Herminie.

The officers were promoted to ranks ranging from Corporal to Chief Superintendent. The ceremony also marked a historic milestone, with Annette Course becoming the first woman to attain the rank of Sergeant Major. She brings 19 years of service and experience, having served in various units of the Seychelles Police Force.
