AI in education takes centre stage at national workshop
Policymakers from the Ministry of Education & Human Resource Development, alongside school leaders and teachers from government learning institutions, gathered yesterday at the Seychelles Institute for Teacher Education (SITE) auditorium for a one-day workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education.
Hosted by the Education and Socio-economic Research Institute (ESRI) of the University of Seychelles (UniSey), the workshop was organised in collaboration with the ministry and SITE. It aimed to encourage discussion and reflection on the role of AI in shaping educational policy, teaching practices and learning experiences.
