From the familiar communities of St Louis and Takamaka to the vibrant city life of Malaysia, 21-year-old Jah-Kellah Poris is embracing independence, experiencing new cultures and preparing for a future in which she hopes to contribute to the development of Seychelles.

For Jah-Kellah, studying thousands of kilometres away from home is about far more than earning a degree. It is a journey of self-discovery, faith and personal growth, shaped by the love of family and a strong desire to give back to the country she proudly calls home.
