Benezet Street through the lens of time

Four decades of life on Benezet Street came into focus yesterday as Minister for Tourism & Culture Amanda Bernstein and Dr Conrad Shamlaye officially opened a photographic exhibition celebrating the people, places and shared memories that have shaped one of Victoria’s most iconic streets.

Titled ‘Faces of Benezet Street Through Time’, the exhibition offers a visual journey through the street’s evolution, preserving moments of everyday life and the cultural connections that have made it a treasured part of Seychelles’ heritage.
