PUC explains reason for power outage in Victoria |05 February 2020

The Public Utilities Corporation (PUC) has informed members of the public that a power outage occurred yesterday around 4pm, affecting the Mont Fleuri, Roche Caiman and East Coast areas.

The power outage was caused by damage to underground high voltage cable due to excavation works in the vicinity of STC Hypermarket, Bois de Rose Complex.

At the time of going to press, PUC had deployed its team to the site to undertake repair works and efforts were made to restore power supply expeditiously.

PUC regrets the inconvenience caused to its customers and thanks them for their patience and understanding.
