With 24 days left before the official opening of the 10th Indian Ocean Island Games scheduled for Mauritius from July 19-28, sports fanatics and family members who wish to make the trip to support our local athletes can purchase their tickets for the various sports venues online.

Thanks to new technology, over 80,000 tickets will be available for sports lovers as from today on the site Rézo Otayo.

As the event closes in, the Games’ commissioner general Sada Vuddamalay is encouraging members of the public to purchase their tickets, either physical or electronic as early as possible.

Tickets can be purchased with credit cards, while physical tickets will also be available at points of sale throughout the island, especially in the Courts Mammouth shops in Curepipe, Port Louis, Rose Hill, Phoenix, Mahebourg, Rose Belle, Bagatelle, Riche Terre et Flacq, as well as the sales outlets of the Rézo Otayo in Grand Baie La Croisette, in Caudan and Tamarin.

According to Pathak Balgobin, head of the Ticketing Commission, this exercise, which began in July 2018, proved to be very complex, as all the sites and disciplines have their specificity and especially that seats are limited.
