Air Seychelles’ partnership with Etihad Airways dissolved |29 April 2021

The Seychelles government is the sole owner of Air Seychelles after the partnership the airline had with Etihad Airways was dissolved, Seychelles NATION has learned.

Although all attempts yesterday to reach the Minister for Transport Antony Derjacques for clarification, were in vain, Seychelles NATION also learned that he had given all the details of the deal to TODAY in Seychelles. These details came out in yesterday’s edition of TODAY in Seychelles.

Since we could not reach the minister, we were told to wait until today’s press conference to receive details about the break-up of the partnership between Air Seychelles and Etihad Airways.

Seychelles NATION has also gathered that Air Seychelles debts’ payment to Etihad Airways has been reduced by 20%.
