Emirates’ passengers to benefit from reduced rates for PCR tests at Euromedical Family Clinic and Seychelles Medical Services |12 May 2021

Emirates’ passengers flying out of the Seychelles will benefit from preferential rates at Euromedical Family Clinic and Seychelles Medical services for the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests which are required by destination countries.

The reduced rate of R1700 will be applicable for the Covid-19 PCR test upon presentation of a valid Emirates air ticket and a passport, with results delivered in 24 hours at Euromedical Family Clinic and within 18 hours at Seychelles Medical Services.

An express service is also available at Seychelles Medical Services for R2500 with the delivery of results within 8 hours.

Emirates’ passengers will also benefit from a preferential rate of R1000 for the Rapid Antigen test at both laboratories.

These tests will be done upon appointment at the Euromedical Family Clinic situated at Eden Plaza, Eden Island. Three locations are proposed by Seychelles Medical Services: Blue Building, Eden Island; Payanke CIP Lounge at the Seychelles International Airport and Maison Esplanade, Victoria.

All passengers travelling to Dubai from the Seychelles must hold a negative Covid‑19 PCR test certificate for a test taken no more than 72 hours before departure. The certificate must be a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test. Other test certificates including antibody tests and home testing kits are not accepted in Dubai. Travellers must bring an official, printed certificate in English or Arabic to check in – SMS and digital certificates are not accepted. PCR certificates in other languages are acceptable if they can be validated at the originating station.

Passengers from the Seychelles do not need a Covid‑19 PCR test to transit in Dubai, unless it’s required by their final destination. For more information on entry requirements for international visitors to Dubai, visit www.emirates.com/flytoDubai.

It is mandatory that customers confirm the Covid‑19 PCR test requirements as per the regulations of the destination country and present the test result certificate at check in. Customers are encouraged to check the latest government travel restrictions in their country of origin and ensure they meet the travel requirements of their final destination.

All Emirates customers can travel with confidence and peace of mind with the airline industry’s first, multi-risk travel insurance and Covid-19 cover. This cover is offered by Emirates on all tickets purchased on or from December 1, 2020, at no cost to customers. In addition to the Covid-19 medical cover, the airline also provides provisions for personal accidents during travel, winter sports cover, loss of personal belongings, and trip disruptions due to unexpected air space closure, travel recommendations or advisories, similar to other multi-risk travel insurance products. Some limitations and exclusions apply.
