From the land of great mountains,

Great kings and great leaders;

Echo the mighty Africa;

From the top of Egypt

To the tip of South Africa.

Riches from the land

Bring forth birth of African nations

From the West to the East,

Riches of the vast ocean provide

Daily breads and earthly riches

Across the Diaspora

Africans dare to flourish

From the depths of oceans

To the summit of majestic Kilimanjaro

Our unity should forever be sealed

nation’s flourishes.

Rise up, Rise up Mother Africa

From generation to generation

Your children have been ever calling

for your unanswered prayers;

Peace, security, prosperity;

Will you ever rejoice!

Every home, every village,

every country, every regional grouping

Let peace keeping be a motto to

“silence the guns "

Burry violence and terror.

Let the efforts ofECOWAS, SADC, AU, EASF,

continue to inspire

As we aspire for regional security and stability.

Rise up, Rise up Mother Africa

From the adversities of time;

As we face the common invisible enemy

Attacking from all corners without mercy.

But just like you have many times before

Majestically risen and stood out stronger.

Our hope is ever stronger…

Oh Mama Africa

Your children are calling on your strength;

To emerge victorious

in this fight against

the merciless enemy – Covid-19.
