C’est Chic Afrique returns with amazing designs

Fashion lovers assembled at the International Conference Centre last Friday to view a spectacular show of attire created by Seychelles’ local designers with the help of famous British designer, Araba Hackman, in this year’s ‘C’est Chic Afrique’.

A group of 15 local designers participated in a five-day workshop where they were trained on how to work with fabrics. After the workshop, the participants were divided into four teams and given space to create their own designs to feature in a fashion show, under the supervision of Ms Hackman.

From their hard work and efforts, four inspiring collections were made; The Golden Age, Disruption, Resistance, and Reparations. The 15 designers were Travis Thelermont, Laurinna Vinda, Mervin Cedras, Else Agathine, Abigail Figaro, Janese Jules, Emmaly Hoareau, Ireny Romain, Fazila Zialor, Guina Ernesta, Isis Loze, Ezra Zialor, Juliette Zelime, Fina Zialor and Natasha Coushion.
