Israel’s ambassador highlights rising threats from Iran in virtual briefing
The ambassador of Israel to Seychelles, Michael Lotem, has addressed the growing concerns surrounding Iran’s nuclear and military capabilities, during a virtual press briefing held yesterday.
Joining him in the briefing was Israel’s deputy ambassador to Kenya, Ariel Aviv.
Ambassador Lotem, who is also accredited to Kenya, Malawi, Uganda, Tanzania (designate), and Seychelles, delivered a stern warning about what he termed an “existential threat” posed by Iran. His remarks focused on Iran's nuclear ambitions, missile capabilities, and its support for terrorist organisations, which he said have far-reaching consequences, not only for Israel, but for other countries as well.
