ECS announces official nomination dates
Official dates for the nomination of candidates for Seychelles’ Presidential and National Assembly elections are August 19, 2025 and August 21, 2025 respectively and voters’ registration will now close on July 19, 2025.
The chairperson of the Electoral Commission of Seychelles (ECS), Wendy Didon, made the announcement during a press conference yesterday morning at the commission’s headquarters in Mont Fleuri. Also present at the press conference were chief electoral officer, Manuella Amesbury; chief registration officer, Sheena Max; senior legal officer, Florie Benstrong; and other members of the commission.
