A public demonstration of national pride, unity, and support
As excitement builds for the forthcoming 13th Commission de la Jeunesse et des Sports de l’Océan Indien Games, one of the common tradition leading up to any major Games, notably the sending-off ceremony, was held yesterday at the International Conference Centre to honour and encourage local athletes as they prepare to represent Seychelles at the Games.
Yesterday’s ceremony brought together athletes, coaches, youth representatives, and senior government officials in a show of national unity and support.
