Ibraham Adrienne wins President’s Cup

Ibraham Adrienne has won the prestigious President’s Cup for being the outstanding student of the Seychelles Institute of Teacher Education’s cohort of 2021-2025.
The 21-year-old Diguois, who did a four-year study in Diploma in Education – Secondary (Mathematics), received his prestigious award from President Wavel Ramkalawan during the institution’s graduation ceremony yesterday at the International Conference Centre Seychelles (ICCS).
He was among a group of 158 students who graduated after successfully completing their studies at the institute in Certificate in Childcare and Development; Advanced Certificate in Education - Early Childhood; Advanced Certificate in Education – Primary; Diploma in Education - Early Childhood; Diploma in Education – Primary; Diploma in Education – Secondary; Diploma in Education - The Arts and Technology & Enterprise; Diploma in Education - Health and Physical Education; and Advanced Diploma in Education.
These programmes are designed to provide aspiring and in-service educators with both theoretical grounding and practical teaching experience through structured work-based attachments. Among the group were 79 in-service teachers who have grown and transformed themselves through part-time studies.
