President Herminie in discussion with Ms Duthil and Ms Harter

‘Biodiversity assessment must precede any further construction on Assomption Island’

Friends of Aldabra has received strong commitment from President Patrick Herminie that a full biodiversity assessment must be conducted before any further construction resumes on Assomption Island.

This followed a courtesy call on the Head of State by the group’s campaign manager, Victoria Duthill, and member Lucie Harter at State House yesterday afternoon.
