CBS and LSEG hosts AML/CFT workshop for local authorities

The Central Bank of Seychelles in partnership with the London Stock Exchange Group Risk Division, hosted a two-day workshop titled ‘Navigating Risk and Resilience: AML/CFT Strategies for a Transparent Financial System’ on February 3 and 4, 2026 at the Savoy Resort and Spa.

The workshop brought together stakeholders from across the financial system, including supervisory authorities, law enforcement agencies, financial institutions, payment service providers, real estate agents, legal and finance professionals. The sessions focused on strengthening national capacity to address evolving anti-money laundering and counterfinancing of terrorism (AML/CFT) risks, while reinforcing Seychelles’ commitment to international standards and financial system integrity.
