Seychelles accedes to Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties
The National Assembly on Tuesday approved a motion resolving that Seychelles accedes to the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties (VCLT), a landmark international instrument that governs the way states engage with treaties.

Presenting the motion, the leader of government business, Hon. Sylvanne Lemiel, said in an increasingly interconnected world where countries rely heavily on cooperation and collaboration, understanding the legal basis of treaties remains essential not only for Seychelles but also for ensuring stability within the global system.
