A group of students from Praslin secondary school and Baie Sainte Anne primary school have been empowered as young water ambassadors following a session held recently to highlight the importance of this resource.
This session was held to mark World Water Day on March 22, under the theme ‘Water and Gender’.
The initiative highlighted the importance of inclusive water management, encouraging both boys and girls to play an active role in protecting this vital resource. Through interactive sessions, students learned about the proper use of water, preventative measures to reduce wastage, and practical ways to conserve and preserve water in their daily lives.
