The Ministry of Social Affairs, Family & Equality (MSAFE) is seeking Comesa’s support for capacity building in technical and vocational training, alongside initiatives to empower women in the trade sector. These priorities were the focus of a high-level meeting held Monday.

The meeting was co-chaired by Comesa secretary general Chileshe Mpundu Kapwepwe and secretary of state for Social Affairs, Family & Equality Linda William-Melanie. Also present were COMFWB chief executive Chikakula Miti, director of Information and Technology & Country Officer Lanka Dorby, acting director for Gender and Social Affairs Tsige Biyazen, and executive support officer to the secretary general Maluba Sikopo Sinyambo.
