Delegation leaves this weekend for ballot printing exercise |26 September 2020

A delegation of five people will be leaving Seychelles for Dubai this weekend to oversee the printing of ballot papers for both the Presidential and National Assembly elections to the conducted on October 22, 23 and 24, 2020.

The delegation comprises representatives of political party Linyon Demokratik Seselwa (LDS), a representative for both independent candidates and political party United Seychelles (US).

All political parties and both independent candidates nominated for these elections were invited to nominate a representative for this mission. Political party One Seychelles and Lalyans Seselwa did not nominate any representative to oversee this exercise.

As part of the Covid-19 prevention measures a public health staff will be supporting the delegates on this mission.

The mission is expected to last one week, and the delegation is expected back in Seychelles with the ballot papers during the weekend of October 3, 2020.
