In line with its Strategic Plan 2022-2030, the University of Seychelles (UniSey) aims to build stronger and more dynamic 'win-win' alliances and networks with reputable partners to continuously provide more opportunities that align with the university’s development plan and Seychelles’ National Development Strategy.

As part of this strategy, ten members of staff from the UniSey left Seychelles yesterday morning on an exchange programme to various universities in Mauritius. This is part of establishing twinning programmes with various universities overseas.

“UniSey begins this exchange with Mauritius as we are neighbours and share some similarities in a number of practices and culture,” notes a press release from UniSey.

“Moreover, we are already collaborating with some Mauritian Universities on

programmes such as Commonwealth Executive Master in Business Administration, Commonwealth Executive Master in Public Administration (CEMBA/CEMPA), Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and BSc Food Safety and Environmental Health,” adds the press release.

UniSey says it intends to collaborate with more universities worldwide to promote both staff and student mobility, which will provide them with the international experience and exposure for the development of tertiary education in Seychelles.
