HIS honours annual donation to Foyer de la Providence |22 December 2022

As per its annual Christmas tradition, the H Savy Insurance Company Limited (HIS) has once again this year called on Foyer de la Providence at the St Elizabeth Convent to bestow each resident with a Christmas gift.

In a short ceremony on Tuesday morning, the company’s manager for Corporate Affairs & Compliance, Marie-Paule Samson, and other staff distributed a selection of presents to a group of very enthusiastic children and a special hamper to Sister Adeline Arinivo.

HSI also presented the employees with essential personal items they will need throughout the year.

In a short speech to thank HSI, Sister Adeline conveyed her appreciation, and said the home considers them as “the mother who takes care of us every time we come knocking at your door”.

The presentation of gifts was followed by a short performance by the children who sang a Christmas carol as a way to express their gratitude towards the work and support of HSI.

The partnership between Foyer de La Providence and HSI spans over a long period of time, and for a while now the insurance company has assisted them during birthdays, holy communions and other activities internally and outside of the home.

Mrs Samson said they have adopted the home and reserves a special treatment for them and the December routine is one that remains on its calendar.

HSI is also involved in several communities through educational and environmental programmes that target both individuals and groups.
