Indian HC hosts 100th episode of PM Modi’s radio programme  ‘Mann Ki Baat’

The Indian high commission organised a live screening of the 100th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on April 30, 2023 at the Chancery premises.

Mann Ki Baat is a radio programme hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through which he connects with the people of India and Indian diaspora around the world on matters of importance to the country.

The screening on Sundaymorning witnessed enthusiastic participation by members of Indian diaspora including young children.

The telecast was followed by discussions on the importance of Mann Ki Baat where the diaspora members highlighted and lauded the emotional and direct connect of PM Modi with the people.

Mann Ki Baat reaches a vast spectrum of a socio-economically and culturally diverse populace in India through All India Radio (AIR), India’s national broadcaster. The broadcast is translated into 22 Indian languages, 29 dialects and 11 foreign languages, catering to the remotest regions in the country, while also taking in to the Indian diaspora around the world.
The programme enjoys a regular audience of 230 million while 1 billion people have listened to the programme at least once, which highlights the popularity of Mann Ki Baat.
