United Seychelles party extends sympathy |23 December 2023

The United Seychelles (US) Party has extended its sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of Honourable Rosie Bistoquet and to the ‘Linyon Demokratik Seselwa’ Party on her sudden passing.

A statement from the party stated that “Seychelles has sadly lost a strong woman in leadership and a dedicated health care professional as Hon. Bistoquet is not only a proportionately elected Member of Parliament but also the chairperson of the committee on communicable diseases, HIV/Aids and SRHR”. 

“She shall be remembered for her years of devotion as a qualified nurse and her generous contribution towards the development of health care in Seychelles.”

The US party said it was saddened by this loss and its thoughts are with her family, members of Parliament and other work colleagues during this painful and sorrowful time.
