Leader of the opposition calls for increased transparency in government’s commitments

Leader of the opposition in the National Assembly, Sebastien Pillay, yesterday called on the executive to consult the National Assembly, and the nation, prior to making commitments with other countries or international organisations, especially when these commitments could possibly impact on sovereignty and fundamental rights of citizens.
